Haobin Zou, also known as Benny, is currently the Manager of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) at BASF, where they focus on driving safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. Previously, they served as a Senior Environmental & Safety Engineer at Singapore Refining Company Private Limited from 2019 to 2023, managing environmental compliance and monitoring air emissions. Benny’s background includes roles as an HSE Engineer at Sembcorp Marine Ltd and an Environment Specialist at Shell, where they handled various aspects of regulatory chemical licensing and environmental legislation. They hold a Master of Science in Safety, Health, and Environmental Technology from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering Technology from Nanyang Technological University. Additionally, Benny has part-time experience as an Open Water Dive Instructor and a Scuba Dive Instructor.
