Helmut Witteler

Helmut Witteler is the Vice President of Research at BASF, where they focus on polymer chemistry and the development of raw materials for home and personal care products. They have an extensive background in product development and technical marketing, having previously served as Group Leader and Lab Leader at BASF, and Lab Leader at Hoechst AG and Hoecht Celanese. Helmut earned a diploma in Chemistry from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and completed a doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. They began their education with an Abitur from Kardinal-von-Galen-Gymnasium in Münster.
