Holger Hartmann is an experienced professional in the field of digitalization and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Head of Digitalization for both Specialties & Bioscience Research and White Biotechnology at BASF since January 2020. Prior to this role, Holger worked at BASF SE from April 2012 to January 2020, where responsibilities included serving as Global Manager of Digitalization and Research Scientist in Bioinformatics. Holger began a career in academia as a PhD student at Gene Center LMU Munich from June 2008 to April 2012 and gained early experience as a Bioinformatics Software Developer at Proteome Systems in 2006.
