Hong Lu

Hong Lu is a Senior Research Manager with extensive experience in energy and chemical engineering. They worked at BASF from 2015 to 2021, first as a Senior Research Manager and later as a Senior Team Leader. Prior to that, Hong held several positions at the National Institute of Clean and Low-Carbon Energy, including Acting Director of the Coal Gasification Center. They began their career as a Lead Engineer at GE Research and hold a Ph.D. in Renewable Energy from Brigham Young University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
