Hugo Vale

Hugo Vale is currently a Discipline Lead and Senior Principal Scientist at BASF, where they focus on optimizing the development and production of advanced polymeric materials. They previously held roles at Michelin as an R&D Engineer and at BASF in various capacities, including Senior R&D Engineer and Group Leader. Hugo also serves as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Stuttgart, teaching modeling of (de)polymerization reactions. They earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Hugo enjoys coding and contributes to open-source projects on GitHub.
