Irene Gorman is the Head of R&D Resins at BASF, where they have been leading efforts in resin development since 2023. Irene's early career includes a role as a Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation from 2006 to 2008 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi, working on azide/alkyne chemistry for novel crosslinked networks from 2006 to 2012. Irene earned a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi after completing a BS in Chemistry from St. Norbert College.
