Jacob Haag has extensive experience in the field of battery materials research and development, particularly in Li-ion battery technologies. Currently serving as Group Leader at BASF since March 2013, Haag has held various positions including Manager, Solid State Synthesis Team Leader, Staff Scientist, and Research Chemist, focusing on innovative Li-ion battery materials. Prior to BASF, Haag worked as a Research Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory from June 2010 to March 2013, specializing in nanostructured electrodes for Li-ion batteries. Haag earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Northwestern University, where research centered on ceramic anodes for solid oxide fuel cells. A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry was obtained from Gonzaga University.
