Jan Ihmann

Jan Ihmann is a Project Engineering Manager at BASF, where they have been involved in global LCP infrastructure projects since 2020. Prior to this role, Jan gained valuable experience as a Senior Technical Materials Management Engineer at BASF from 2017 to 2019 and held various positions, including Asset Management Trainee and Junior Asset Manager. Jan completed a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in energy and process technology, from Universität Duisburg-Essen. Their early career included internships at DLR and Krahnen GmbH, as well as a Diplomand role at RheinEnergie AG.
