Jan Rether

Jan Rether is a results-oriented agribusiness leader with a passion for regulatory affairs and over 20 years of experience in various roles within BASF SE. Currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Crop Protection, Jan has previously held positions including Head of Regulatory Affairs EMEA-CIS and Head of Regional Technical Management in South Europe. Jan's background includes extensive knowledge of policy developments and regulations globally, along with a business-oriented mindset that transforms regulatory challenges into commercial successes. With an approachable, inclusive leadership style, Jan fosters diversity and promotes a feedback-oriented workplace culture. Jan earned a Doctor's Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology from the University of Kaiserslautern.
