Janosch Cravillon is a passionate leader and battery enthusiast with over five years of leadership experience, emphasizing empowerment, inclusion, and respect. They currently serve as the Director of Global Strategy for Battery Materials at BASF, where they lead strategic initiatives related to metal access and battery recycling within significant capital expenditures. With more than ten years in the automotive value chain and expertise in inorganic chemistry, Janosch holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they graduated summa cum laude. They have also held various roles at BASF, including Head of European Marketing for Battery Materials.
