Jared Dennis

Jared Dennis is an experienced professional in regulatory science and molecular biology, currently serving as the Sr. Regulatory Science Team Lead – Protein at BASF since October 2014. In this role, Jared leads a team of scientists in conducting GLP studies on genetically modified plants, ensuring compliance with EPA regulations. Previously, Jared held positions at BASF as Senior Team Leader and Senior Scientist I, focusing on enzyme discovery and molecular biology research, respectively. With earlier experience at Verenium as Associate Staff Scientist and Senior Research Associate, Jared has a proven track record in managing teams and projects related to enzyme production, gene library development, and intellectual property. Jared holds an M.S. in Biological Sciences from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Marine and Freshwater Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
