Jayme Williams

Jayme Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both non-profit volunteer management and scientific research within the agricultural sector. From March 2009 to January 2019, Jayme served as Volunteer Manager at SAFE Haven for Cats, overseeing volunteer training in cat care and ensuring safe interactions for both animals and volunteers. In the scientific arena, Jayme held various roles at Bayer Crop Science from 2012 to 2014, culminating in a Senior Scientist position, where responsibilities included conducting assays for insecticidal protein development and coordinating pest resistance research. Subsequently, at BASF from 2020 to 2024, Jayme advanced to Global Insect Resistance Manager for Seeds and Traits, managing project budgets and regulatory submissions for commercialization efforts. Jayme holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
