Jens Hamprecht is the Vice President of Global Plastics Steering Committee Coordination at BASF and the Managing Director of Plastic Recovery Land & Sea. With over 20 years of experience focusing on transforming value chains towards a circular economy, Jens coordinates BASF's roadmap for plastics circularity and has led significant research on circular economy strategies at ETH Zurich for over a decade. Jens co-founded PRLS to empower local initiatives in Indonesia, addressing plastic pollution through educational and operational efforts. Jens holds a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen and a Diplom in Industrial Engineering from ETH Zurich.
