Jia Jin Foo

Jia Jin Foo has extensive experience in the field of battery recycling and operational excellence, currently serving as the Director of Global Technology Battery Recycling at BASF since August 2011. In this role, Jia Jin Foo oversees the Battery Recycling Competence Center and has previously held positions such as Senior Project Manager and Senior Plant Manager, focusing on megaprojects in China and production optimization in automotive coatings. Prior experience includes an internship at Johnson Controls, where data analytics and programming were key responsibilities, as well as internships at Bosch and Atmel Corporation, further enriching expertise in programming and data analysis. Jia Jin Foo holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and an Engineer’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Hochschule Heilbronn.
