Joachim Becker

Joachim (Joe) Becker is a seasoned process engineer with over 15 years of diverse technical expertise and a proven track record in project management. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at BASF in Abu Dhabi, Joe focuses on designing gas treatment units and enhancing customer engagement through collaboration. Previously, Joe held various roles at Sasol, including Senior Process Engineer and Project Manager, where they led complex feasibility studies and optimized refinery operations. Joe also contributed to academia as a lecturer and senior tutor at the University of Cape Town, highlighting a strong foundation in chemical engineering. Joe earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
