Joakim Nilsson

Joakim Nilsson serves as the Head of Commercial and Innovation Projects for the Nordic/Baltic region at BASF A/S, a position held since June 2004. Previously, Joakim held roles including Local Sales Manager for the Nutrition and Health division, Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing for Agricultural Solutions in Japan, and Business Manager for Human Nutrition in Japan, overseeing key market segments. Joakim's early career included various technical roles at Royal Avebe and currently serves as a board member for Nutraceutisk Industri, the Danish industry association for dietary supplements. Joakim holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, earned between 1991 and 1997.
