John Merten

John Merten has over 35 years of experience in enterprise architecture and information systems, currently serving as an Enterprise Architect at BASF since 1995. Key responsibilities include developing enterprise landscape blueprints, collaborating with security and consulting teams, and driving architecture transformation programs. Previously, John held the position of Mgr, Network Applications Support, where leadership included managing software support services and overseeing global PC standardization projects. Earlier roles included Information Systems Manager at BASF, where John directed a department and implemented significant network expansions, as well as positions at G D Searle, Denticon, and Agri Systems, Inc., focusing on programming and data management solutions.
