Jonathan Fay is a seasoned professional in polyurethanes research and development, currently serving as a Technical Development Manager at BASF after more than nine years in various roles within the company. As a dedicated people leader, they have coached and mentored technicians and junior scientists, fostering their growth into successful contributors. Fay holds a PhD in Chemistry (Polymer/Materials) from Durham University and has over fifteen years of experience in product development and technical service, with a proven track record in Six Sigma management and safety initiatives. Prior to BASF, they worked at The Dow Chemical Company, where they led multifunctional teams and contributed to innovations in polyurethane and epoxy materials.
