Karin Cornelius

Karin Cornelius has extensive experience in product management and procurement, currently serving as the Head of Product Management for Core Aroma Ingredients at BASF since January 2012. Karin has held various strategic roles within BASF, including Strategy Aroma Ingredients, Staff to the President of Nutrition & Health, Teamlead Direct Procurement for Nutrition & Health, and Global Procurement Manager focusing on renewable raw materials. Previously, Karin worked as Procurement Manager for Europe overseeing Metal Inorganic Raw Materials and began a career in finance during an internship at Deutsche Bank in 2010. A graduate of Technische Universität Darmstadt with a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Karin also studied at Tongji University and the National University of Singapore, alongside completing the Abitur/Baccalauréat at Deutsch-Französisches Gymnasium, Saarbrücken.
