Kathryn Herrold

Kathryn Herrold possesses extensive experience in environmental health and safety across various leadership roles in the agriculture and chemicals sectors. Currently serving as the Responsible Care Director at BASF since May 2014, Kathryn previously held multiple positions at Syngenta, including Global Seeds & Traits Environment, Health & Safety Manager and EHS Operations Manager for North America. Prior experience includes roles such as EHS Director and Senior Environmental Manager at Syngenta Seeds, and Global Environmental Manager at Zeneca Agrochemicals. Kathryn began the professional journey as North American Environmental Manager at ICI/Zeneca. Educational qualifications include a Master of Environmental Pollution Control and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from Penn State University, along with a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business.
