Kyra Geyer

Kyra Geyer is a Lab Manager at BASF SE, where they lead a Quality Control laboratory with more than 15 team members. With over five years of hands-on experience in lab work and project management, Kyra previously served as a Doctoral Candidate at the Max-Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, focusing on enzyme purification and characterization. They also held roles as a Team Leader in Global Research for Crop Protection at BASF, and contributed to various research projects at institutions such as the Max Planck Institutes Tübingen and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Kyra earned a Dr. rer. nat. from The Philipp University of Marburg and holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science from the University of Tübingen.
