Lauren Wehmeyer

Lauren Wehmeyer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as Manager of Cost Controls at BASF since September 2013, Lauren leads a team of seven in providing internal services to the engineering organization and supports the Senior Vice President. Previous roles at BASF include Continuous Improvement Specialist, where Lauren fostered a culture of continuous improvement through LEAN training and project coaching, Operations Coordinator with responsibilities in site maintenance and capital projects, and roles in professional development focusing on maintenance, reliability, and mechanical design engineering. Earlier experiences include internships at Samsung Austin Semiconductor and The University of Texas at Austin, where Lauren gained hands-on experience in semiconductor production and simulation of fluid flow. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
