Laurent Marty has extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and microbiology, currently serving as the Head of Enzymes Strain & Process Research at BASF since September 2012. With a prior role as Head of Microbiology in Quality Assurance and experience as a Global Product Manager for Feed Enzymes, Laurent has a strong background in innovation and intellectual property management within animal nutrition. Prior to this, Laurent worked at BASF Plant Science GmbH as a Lab Leader in Biochemistry from September 2009 to September 2012. Laurent holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from Heidelberg University and a Diploma in Biology from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg.
