Manish Kumar

Manish Kumar is a Principal Data Scientist at BASF and a PhD student at TU Clausthal. With expertise in developing and deploying AI solutions, they have recently led the creation of multilingual purchase order extraction services using OCR and LLMs. Previously, they worked at KPMG India, where they built a machine learning framework for healthcare claims denial management and developed an AI/ML framework to identify credit defaulters. Manish's diverse experience spans multiple industries, including Chemicals, Pharma, Healthcare, and Retail. They hold a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from Universität Osnabrück and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
