Mario da Silva Junior

Mario da Silva Junior has a diverse professional background in the energy sector, starting as a trainee at EnBW, where they gained experience in renewables and structured products before becoming a gas analyst from 2012 to 2017. They then transitioned to BASF, where they held various roles, including data scientist and manager for strategy and market intelligence, ultimately focusing on digital transformation in Nutrition & Health and digital innovation in Performance Materials until 2019. Mario earned a PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research from 2005 to 2011 and holds both a master's and bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
