Mario Piovesan

Mario Piovesan is a Derivatives Controlling Manager at BASF, having started in 2025. With extensive experience in banking operations, Mario previously served as the Deputy Head of OTC/ETD Derivatives at Avaloq and contributed as a Securities Transfer Officer. Mario began their career as a Banking Back Office Specialist at SWISS-REV SA. They earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Administration, Control and Corporate Finance from Università degli Studi di Pavia, graduating with honors. Additionally, Mario participated in a yearly Talent Program, enhancing their leadership and organizational skills.
