Marion Van De Wal

Marion Van De Wal is the Global Head of Quality Assurance at BASF, having held the position since 2021 after serving as the Global Head of Quality Assurance for Vegetable Seeds at BASF from 2018 to 2021. Prior to their role at BASF, Marion worked at Bayer CropScience Vegetable Seeds in various leadership positions from 2015 to 2018, including Global Head of Quality Assurance and Global Head of Marker Assisted Breeding. Marion began their career at Nunhems from 2010 to 2014, where they contributed as a Marker Assisted Breeding Coordinator and Scientist. They obtained their Master of Science in Plant Breeding from Wageningen University and are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Plant Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, following a PhD and post-doctoral research at Wageningen UR.
