Markus Lohscheidt

Markus Lohscheidt has extensive experience in the field of process engineering and marketing within the chemical industry, having worked at BASF since April 1999. In the role of Director Marketing, Markus oversees marketing for Polymerdispersions related to Architectural Coatings and Construction across the EMEA region. Previous positions at BASF include Head of Marketing for both Architectural Coatings and Construction, Head of Business Management for Polyvinylpyrrolidone, and several roles in production coordination and project management. Before joining BASF, Markus served as a Scientific Assistant at RWTH Aachen University. Markus earned a Dr. Ing. degree in Process Engineering and a Diplom-Ingenieur in the same field from RWTH Aachen University, completing studies in 1999 and 1994, respectively.
