Markus Pompejus

Markus Pompejus is currently the Vice President of Group Research at BASF, a position held since 2022. They previously served in various leadership roles at BASF, including the Vice President of White Biotechnology Research North America and the Head of Research in Bioactive Materials and Biotechnology. Their earlier experience includes positions as Laboratory Manager and Production Manager at BASF AG, as well as Team Head for Strategic Planning and Coordination. They are also pursuing a PhD at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and hold a Diplom from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern.
