Matt Leiter

Matt Leiter is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in accounting, reporting, and tax matters. Currently serving as Director of Accounting & Reporting at BASF since 2013, Matt oversees financial reporting, external audits, and internal controls for approximately 40 entities in North America, managing a team of 30 professionals. Matt previously held roles including Manager of Corporate M&A and Manager of Federal Tax at BASF, leading cross-border M&A activities and addressing corporate income tax matters. Prior experience includes a tenure at EisnerAmper LLP, where Matt advanced from Associate to Manager. Matt's educational background includes an MBA in Data Analytics & Corporate Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, an MS in Tax from Villanova University, and a BS in Accounting from Montclair State University.
