Matthew English

Matthew English is an Assistant General Counsel at BASF Corporation, where they lead business counsel for the Petrochemicals operating division and the Chemetall business in the US, among other responsibilities. Prior to this role, they served as Counsel and Senior Counsel at BASF, handling complex commercial and real estate transactions. Matthew began their career as an Associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, focusing on commercial finance and real estate. They hold a JD, Cum Laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a BA in Literature with High Honor from Michigan State University. Additionally, they taught English as a second language in Prague early in their career.
