Michael Heltzer

Michael Heltzer is the Head of State Government Affairs at BASF, where they lead a team in setting national strategies for public policy related to the company's products and advocacy efforts. With extensive experience in government affairs, they previously served as a Senior Manager and Representative at BASF, focusing on communication and grassroots advocacy. Prior to that, Michael spent over a decade at the International Trademark Association as the External Relations Manager, where they successfully drove policy changes to protect intellectual property. They are currently pursuing both a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the State University of New York at Albany.
