Michael Limbach

Michael Limbach is currently the Vice President of Business Management for Industrial Petrochemicals North America, where they provide leadership and strategic direction with full P&L ownership. Previously, they held various roles at BASF, including Director of Sales for Specialty Amines in Europe and Business Manager for Standard Amines in the Americas, where they consistently delivered strong results and led transformative change. Additionally, Michael contributed to academic and industry collaboration as an Advisory Board Member at Rutgers University and Seton Hall University. They earned multiple degrees, including a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, graduating summa cum laude. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated a commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation.
