Michael Shawver

Michael Shawver, CSP, is the Senior EHS Specialist at BASF, a position they have held since 2021. With a background in environmental safety and health management, Michael earned a Master of Science from the University of Findlay and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. They have previously served in various safety and industrial hygiene roles, including as the Safety and Industrial Hygiene Team Lead at Limetree Bay Refining and EHS Coordinator at Abengoa Bioenergy. Their early career included positions as an Industrial Hygiene Intern at Marathon Petroleum Company and as a Clinical Research Specialist with the Toledo Community Oncology Program.
