Miranda Palmer has a diverse background in health, safety, and environmental management, spanning several years and various organizations. Beginning as an Office Manager at Coastal Computer Marketing in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1989, Miranda later transitioned into health and safety roles, serving as Health & Safety Advisor for Oxfordshire County Council from September 2009 to March 2014, and at Gloucester College from April 2018 to January 2020. Miranda continued to build expertise at SPP PUMPS as Health Safety Environment Officer from January 2020 to March 2022, and later took on the role of HSE Compliance Manager at Amiosec until June 2024, overseeing multi-site HSE compliance with ISO standards. Currently, Miranda holds the position of Health, Safety & Environmental Manager at BASF, starting in June 2024.
