Nathan Taitano

Nathan Taitano is a Research and Development Specialist at BASF, focused on molecular assisted breeding. Nathan has an extensive background in research, including roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Georgia and as a Graduate Research Fellow at The Ohio State University, where Nathan studied the genetics of *Capsicum* species. Prior to these positions, Nathan served as an intern for various governmental and non-profit organizations, contributing to efforts ranging from environmental protection to youth engagement. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics from The University of Georgia and a B.A. in Biology from The College of Wooster.
