Pablo Fernandez

Pablo Fernandez is an experienced professional in commercial project management and contract execution, currently serving as Team Lead for Commercial Project Management at BASF, overseeing the Zhanjiang Verbund Project in China, the company's largest investment. Prior to this role, Pablo held multiple positions at Metso Outotec from 2009 to 2021, including Contract Execution Manager and several Contract Manager roles, managing significant projects such as a gold processing facility valued at over USD 600 million and an ilmenite smelter exceeding USD 500 million. Pablo began their career as a Project Engineer and holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Chile.
