Pavan Badami

Pavan Badami is a Senior Materials Scientist at BASF since November 2023, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory in the CSE Division under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Abraham from October 2021 to November 2023. Pavan's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, alongside undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at PES University. The research experience spans various roles, including Graduate Student at Arizona State University focusing on solid electrolytes for Li-metal batteries, a Graduate Research Student at Technische Universität Graz, and a Process Engineer at Staq Energy, Inc. Additionally, Pavan worked as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University, specializing in electrochemical modeling and failure analysis in battery technologies.
