Chen Yang is an Ontology Expert at BASF, where they manage projects focused on the digitization and automation of biological data. They obtained their Ph.D. in Nutrition Sciences from Ghent University, where they also completed a Master of Science in Human Nutrition. Prior to their current role, Chen Yang was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ghent University, collaborating with various stakeholders on European Horizon 2020 projects. Their research interests include ontology development and knowledge standardization, particularly in agriculture, food, and nutrition science.
