Prerna Chatterjee is a seasoned professional in sustainability with extensive experience at BASF since March 2015, where roles have included Senior Manager, Global Sustainability Manager, and Marketing Manager for Home & Personal Care. Responsibilities encompass leading sustainability strategy development, marketing positioning, and training sales teams for North America's sustainability initiatives. Prerna has represented BASF in various industry organizations and has played a crucial role in advancing sustainability practices, including sustainable sourcing and eco certifications. Previous experiences include serving as President of the Sustainability Management Student Association at Columbia University and internships at The Dow Chemical Company and Oerlikon. Prerna holds a Master's degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
