Quirin Kainz

Quirin Kainz is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry and process development, currently serving as Senior Process Manager for the Vitamin Cluster and Senior Manager for Process Development at BASF since September 2015. Previously, Kainz worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech, where research focused on developing new reactions in asymmetric copper-catalyzed cross-couplings. Kainz also contributed to research as a PhD candidate at the University of Regensburg and completed various research internships at ETH Zurich and the University of Kansas. Educational background includes a PhD and MSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Regensburg, as well as a BSc in Chemistry.
