Ralf Schmitt

Ralf Schmitt has extensive experience in the engineering and mechanics of heavy-duty rotating equipment, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a mechanic specializing in turbines at BASF since October 2018, Ralf previously held significant positions at GE Power and Alstom Power, where responsibilities included senior chief field engineer and lead engineer roles focused on on-site assembly for gas turbine models GT13 E2 and GT 26/27. Ralf began professional training as an industrial mechanic with BBC from 1987 to 1991 and continued as a field engineer at ABB until 2000.
