Shahab Taebi

Shahab Taebi has extensive experience in the petrochemicals sector, currently serving as Director and Group Leader in the Global Strategic Development Petrochemicals Division at BASF since May 2002, focusing on the economic aspects of petrochemical processes and the development of computer-aided simulation tools. Previously, Shahab held the position of Director and Head of Business Opportunities and Forecasting, responsible for long-term price forecasts, investment decisions, and technology negotiations. Other roles included Senior Manager Strategic Projects in Global Procurement and Technical Marketing Manager for Gas Treatment Technologies in the Middle East. Shahab's career at BASF began at BASF Iran AG as Sales Manager for Catalysts and Chemical Intermediates. Shahab holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology and a High School Diploma with majors in physics and mathematics from Kamal High School, which followed education at Alborz High School.
