Sofie Leirens

Sofie Leirens is an experienced finance professional with a background in accountancy and fiscality, holding a Bachelor’s degree from HOGENT. Sofie began her career at Best Tours as an accounts payable professional before joining Texaco in March 2000 as a credit analyst, where responsibilities included credit management for all gas stations in Belgium. After working as an accounting specialist at BASF Belgium from August 2003 to May 2011, overseeing credit management and VAT affairs, Sofie currently serves as a Business Relationship Manager at BASF, acting as a liaison for Belgian BASF companies in their IT projects since February 2011.
