Stan van Wissen

Stan van Wissen is an ITX professional specializing in indirect tax, with a primary focus on VAT and Customs processes, controls, and compliance. Currently, they serve as an Indirect Tax Manager for BASF EMEA, where they work on training, coaching, and automation projects. Until the end of 2023, Stan was part of the Corporate Tax team at Nexperia, contributing to various initiatives including SAP Hana S4 and E-invoicing. Stan has also been a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers since 2015, after completing post-master courses in the field. They hold multiple degrees, including an LL.M from Tilburg University and additional qualifications in civil law and quality assurance.
