Stefan Seemayer

Stefan Seemayer is a Principal Scientist and Global Scientific Discipline Lead in Protein Engineering at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen. They previously served as a Principal Scientist in Computational Protein Engineering and held various positions including Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist in Bioinformatics at BASF. Stefan earned a PhD in Bioinformatics from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, where they also completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field. Prior to their time at BASF, they were a PhD Student at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry from 2014 to 2016.
