Tero Mustonen

Tero Mustonen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical marketing within the chemical and electronics industries, currently serving as a Senior Technical Marketing Manager at BASF since July 2009. Specializing in polyisobutene and jet fuel additives, Tero coordinates global regulatory matters, oversees product portfolios, and leads new business development initiatives across the Americas. Previous roles include overseeing R&D at BASF's InnovationLab GmbH, developing electrochromic polymers, and participating in multiple advisory capacities, including membership on the Advisory Board for the NRW Nano Conference and the Board of Directors for the International Association for Stability, Handling and Use of Liquid Fuels. Tero holds a D.Sc. in Microelectronics and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Oulu.
