Tim Blaschke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the chemical production industry, currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure, Services, and Operational Excellence at BASF since February 2012. Blaschke has played pivotal roles in various capacities, including the development of operational excellence strategies, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams for significant investment projects, and optimizing production processes within the acrylic acid value chain. Prior to their tenure at BASF, Blaschke completed an internship at Daimler AG, focusing on chemical hydrogen storage for fuel cell electric vehicles. Blaschke holds a Ph.D. in Thermodynamics from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Process Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, along with international academic experience at The University of Manchester.
