Tom Peeters

Tom Peeters is an experienced professional in chemical engineering with a strong focus on process management and project leadership. Currently serving as a Process Manager at BASF since October 2018, Tom oversees operations at the Caprolactam-Polyamide production plant and previously managed projects for the Ammonia production plant. With a robust background as a Lead Process Engineer, expertise includes performing process calculations and simulations, while providing operational recommendations on safety and capacity investments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven, alongside international studies in sustainability. Leadership roles include serving as President at Praesidium Thomas Morus V.Z.W., which coordinates activities and events in Leuven.
