Varun Giri

Varun Giri is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in computational toxicology and digitalization of toxicological data, currently serving as the Digital Officer - Process Catalyst and Team Lead - Computational Toxicology at BASF. With a strong foundation in biostatistics and postdoctoral research, Varun has developed methodologies for data integration and analysis of metabolomic and microbiome data. Prior roles include postdoctoral researcher at Saarland University, where Varun focused on autocatalytic processes and DNA hybridization, and various engineering positions at Samsung Electronics, where advanced algorithms for biochemical reaction pathways were developed. Varun holds a PhD in Physics (Computational and Mathematical Modeling) from Delhi University, supplementing this with an MSc and BSc in Physics.
